Are you a dog lover? You aren’t alone. Today we are going to shine a spotlight on military working dogs.  These dogs are incredibly smart and valuable to our military! They save lives and serve our nation. A news article from last year popped into my mind recently and I decided to do a little research into some organizations that place these dogs with other veterans and loving families after they return from war.  The dogs’ military handlers usually get first dibs on adopting their military dogs, but there are times when the dogs need to be placed in loving homes after they have finished their service to our .

Mission K9 Rescue: Mission K9 Rescue is a non profit organization dedicated to the service of retiring and retired Military Working Dogs and Contract Working Dogs.
